Dr. Yasmin Kanani DDS, FAGD
Dr. Yasmin Kanani is a dentist with a diverse background, having been born in the UK, raised in Iraq, and settled in Chicago in 1999. She earned her degree in Dentistry from the University of Baghdad in 1997 and later pursued further education through the International Dentists Program at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Her dedication to oral health and overall well-being developed early on, influenced by her family of healthcare professionals.
Dr. Kanani finds fulfillment in the daily challenge of interacting with a diverse range of patients and is committed to meeting their expectations by providing transformative care.
She has a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry with active membership and prioritizes ongoing education in areas such as implants and Oral Surgery, prosthodontics, Orthodontics ,endodontics, and general restorative dentistry to ensure optimal patient care. She participated in a mission trip to Guatemala, her with other group of dentist to extract teeth in the beautiful city of Chimaltenango in 2023.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Kanani enjoys quality time with her husband and three children, as well as pursuing interests in travel, fitness, and community engagement, including involvement with local schools.
Nancy
Administrative Assistant
As an Administrative Assistant, my role centers on managing insurances, payments, billing, and the entire claims process for patient care. From scheduling appointments to registering and updating patient files, I ensure a seamless administrative process. My responsibilities extend to receiving lab works, handling phone calls, messages, invoices and scanning necessary documents.
My primary focus revolves around streamlining the patient experience. Upon a patient's arrival, I orchestrate the creation and updating of their file, meticulously managing insurance details to generate precise treatment plans. Post-visit, I meticulously check and complete the patient's account, handling payments and scheduling future appointments efficiently.
My personal interests encompass quality family time and indulging in crafting. With a professional journey that began in 2012 as an accounting assistant, swiftly progressing to an accounting manager within six months, I eventually transitioned to work at cellphone company in 2016.
Presently, in 2023, I take pride in our work ethos, characterized by high standards. Our commitment to impeccable scheduling ensures our patients never wait, preserving their time by seating them promptly.
What invigorates me most in my work is delving into my computer tasks, especially relishing the process of updating and managing crucial numerical data and all associated tasks.

Clinical Dental Assistant
With 13 years of experience as a dental assistant, I developed a
comprehensive understanding of patient care. For the past 13 years, I have
excelled as both a chairside and lead assistant, honing MY clinical skills.
However, my dedication extends beyond the clinical setting; I find immense
satisfaction in connecting with patients and guiding them through their
treatment plans. My passions lie in empowering individuals to achieve
excellent oral health and the confidence that comes with a beautiful smile.
Fluent in Spanish and recognized for my empathetic nature, I also cherish
time spent with my 3-year-old son and enjoy baking and exploring my
creativity through arts and crafts.
Eddy
Dental Assistant
As a Marine Corps veteran and an Aurora, IL native.I personally enjoy being outside with nature, meditating, and reading about all of the cultures around the world. I served this nation for 5 years as an attack and utility helicopter mechanic in the USMC; there I gained a vast amount of knowledge ranging from mechanics, HAZMAT, leadership rolls, and aerodynamics.
In 2022, I became a teacher assistant/paraprofessional specializing in children on the spectrum and with behavioral issues. Becoming the voice that the students needed was my favorite part. Now I’m very honored to have my role here as a dental assistant.
I love being behind the scenes, making sure everything is set up and ready to go for the doctor, but my favorite is watching the patients leave with a smile on their faces.
Homam Saadi
Associate Dentist
Dr. Homam Saadi embarked on his journey in dentistry in 2011 and has since become a transformative force in the field. Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence, he pursued advanced education at Nova Southeastern University, earning a post-graduate certificate and a master’s degree in dental science, specializing in operative and cosmetic dentistry. His dedication to scientific rigor is evident in his research on “The effect of drying protocols on the bond strength of resin to dentin,” ensuring he brings evidence-based techniques to every procedure.
What truly sets Dr. Saadi apart is his passion for making a genuine impact on patients’ lives and restoring oral health within the community. He finds immense joy in the post-treatment phase, where routine care and lasting relationships with patients thrive. Dr. Saadi’s friendly and approachable demeanor creates a unique dental experience, actively breaking the stereotype of a typical dental visit. His core philosophy is elegantly simple: “If it’s simple, keep it simple; if it’s complicated, make it simple.”
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Saadi is a lifelong learner who enjoys immersing himself in books to expand his horizons and gain new perspectives. He cherishes moments spent with his family, including his supportive wife and three children, bonding over activities like short walks, cycling, travel, and, of course, indulging in the joys of food.
Dr. Saadi’s commitment to providing dental care that aligns with the core principles of the ADA Code makes him a trusted practitioner, and he ensures every patient feels like they are among friends while receiving exceptional care.
